This Toasted Almond Coffee Ice Cream is a great recipe to make-ahead for those busy days you don’t have time for ice cream preparation. Once the ice cream is ready, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer. The Ice cream will stay fresh for up to one week, but usually, it’s best eaten within 4-5 days.

When reheating your ice cream, let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes so that it softens up. Then stir with a spoon until it reaches the creaminess consistency it had before storing. If you’d like the ice cream to soften more quickly, you can microwave it for 10 seconds or less until it reaches your desired consistency.

If you’re planning to store leftover Skor toasted almond or any other flavor of almond coffee ice cream, make sure you label the container with the freezing date and flavor so that you can keep track of how long it has been stored in the freezer.

In case you want to make this recipe vegan or lactose-free by substituting half-and-half with almond milk or any other plant-based milk variant, be aware that these ingredients may cause separation after freezing. To fix this issue, just run the almond ice cream mixture in your blender or food processor until smooth before churning in your electric cream maker.

Overall, this coffee almond ice cream recipe is easy to make-ahead and store without losing its exquisite flavor and texture. Remember to reheat appropriately and enjoy!
